Lesson Description:

Ok well if you have come this far then you must be a real WingTchunDo practitioner!

Having said this, the first section of Biu Tze is very complicated, and let’s face it – very dangerous.

You need to practice this very slowly then build up momentum.

We are looking at all aspects of the Biu Tze, including the many dangers, where the strikes are positioned and the effects of the strikes to the body.

Please do not underestimate Biu Tze Chi Sao… it is a language quite different to the previous Chi Sao sections and you need to have a lot of skill development, and a good solid preparation in all the previous work in order to complete this training (if you have many years under your belt then you know what I mean).

It is important that your shoulders and scapulas are very flexible as they will be generating the majority of attacks.

We will look at the variations of Biu Tze angled attacks using overhead elbows or direct horizontal elbows.

Furthermore we will learn how to recycle the elbows and counter attack with Biu Tze or elbow attacks – all in Chi Sao fashion; recycling and maintaining the fighting and power principles.
